Christian Dior, the brand that spells feminity, seduction and creativity launched its dazzling new collection of watches 'The Christal Star Range' at Hotel Oberoi in the capital on May 24. The brand also released its new advertising campaign for the watches with a special preview of its Christal collection. Sharon Stone, the famous Hollywood actress is the brand ambassador for the new range of watches.

Valerie, who has been working as the CEO of Dior Watches for three years, implemented a new product strategy to revive the image of Christian Dior watches. A well known face on television, Simone Singh hosted the event. As six models walked the ramp to showcase the collection, the sparkling timepieces studded with diamonds enthralled the audience. Besides, the Dior Christal Cresendo, the collection also includes the new ���Sport-Chic Spirit���. This collection of watches with rubber straps is a perfect blend of comfort and contemporary creativity.
The complete Dior Christal Rubber collection includes six timepieces in three sizes in black or white, with sparkling diamonds. The special edition, the Dior Christal Rubber Ruby 38 mm chronograph with 76 diamonds looks absolutely stunning. Each watch is an exclusive creation and truly a timeless object.
When asked about choosing Sharon Stone as the brand ambassador for the new range, Valerie Lachaux said, "Sharon Stone is the queen of glamour. She is the most beautiful and sexy actress that Hollywood has known. She endorses the same qualities as Dior- feminity, serenity and beauty. So, I believe she is a person who will help us to grow at a very fast pace."
The brand is targeting higher end customers who are looking for creativity and luxury in watch-making. "Our international price policy is to offer every consumer the same price. So, the prices in India would be the same as international prices starting from 1500 euros," said Valerie, adding that so far India has been a small market for Dior. "We foresee a huge potential in India as a market. We hope India to enter the top seven markets of the world". "We also hope India to be the top market in the South-Asian region," she added. The Dior watches, an unparalleled combination of fashion and Swiss watch making skills are available at selected outlets in India, one of which is The Oberoi, New Delhi. It also has 18 select retail outlets in eight cities across India including Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai and Gurgaon.
